Thankfulness

We have much to be thankful for.  Please allow me a few moments to share with you some of those things.

Meet some of the ladies and professor’s wives from GPTS. Saturday the president’s wife (Mrs. P) hosted a Seminary Wives Brunch at her home.  Here we were preparing to say our goodbyes to the ladies whose husbands will be graduating in just a few weeks.  We are also preparing to welcome the new ladies in this fall as their husbands start their first year at GPTS. I can not tell you all how thankful I am to have the opportunity to be in this season of life with these ladies. My heart loves them all more than words can express.  I love my little seminary family.

Today I started my first day as a dental office assistant.  I am so blessed to be working in an office full of believers who openly talk about their faith throughout the day.   I am also thankful for a boss who starts the day off with a small devotion!  There is much to learn, however God has been faithful time and time again – I have no doubt He will be faithful now too!

This week we were happy to wake up to the news that our nephew had safely entered the world!!  Brian’s sister delivered a sweet, brown haired little boy early Friday morning.  We are thankful to the Father for his new little life and for blessing Brian’s sister, her hubby and his big sissy with this precious child.  We can’t wait to see him in person and love on him!!

This week is the start of finals week for GPTS.  Please say a prayer for my hubby when you think about it. Pray for the times that he has to study, the Lord might grant him clarity of thought when he takes his finals and that in all things He may be glorified.

Praises:

* Michelle’s new job

* Our nephew’s birth – pray for their family as they settle into life as a family of four

Prayer Requests:

*  That we would continue to trust and have faith in the Lord as He provides for us and directs our ways

*  That the Lord would provide supporters for us while at seminary (If you would like to help now please see the link below):

*  That the Lord would continue to be gracious to Michelle as she learns the ropes of her new job and that everyone would get use to the new routine of Momma working

*  Brian in his studies and as he prepares for finals

*  Michelle’s health would continue to improve and the Lord might heal her body

Until next time…….
